TRANSCRIPT:
Nicole: Natalie, Hey, what’s up? Not much here. Just sitting.
I haven’t written you a letter in a long time. What’s wrong?
Try to call me today. I will
hopefully know if my sister can come pick us up. That test was easy! I want to hurry up and leave. I want to sleep, that is, if Bailey
doesn’t stop me. Wendy and I got in a
huge fight last night about how to cook macaroni and cheese. She started it. Oh yeah – we can go to the movies on Friday,
Saturday, Sunday or Monday, depending on when my sister is working. You and Alecia might want to bring money in
case Wendy isn’t working. If she is
working she can get us in free, but bring money just in case. I’ll ask Wendy what’s playing. What do you and Alecia want to see? Whatever y’all want to see is fine. I am writing because I probably won’t be able
to tell you this over the phone! W/B B/F/F, Nicole Kenning
Natalie: We can go to an 8:00 movie and have your mom
pick us up. Nicole, I don’t want
to drive anywhere with Wendy.
And I’m serious, if we want to go to the movies my mom will take
us!
What can I say, Wendy was in a dark place at the time. She couldn’t even cook macaroni and cheese
right! Remember
when movies were only $3.00? Our parents would give us $5.00 (or $10.00, if you was rich!) for the "movies", but really we would walk to the nearby restaurants and blow it all on sopapillas at El Fenix or on salad and breadsticks at Olive Garden. I bet the waiters LOVED us. Good times.
