Everywhere we go, it's Natalie and Nicole

Natalie:  July 31, 1996 

Nicole, Hey I just got off the phone w/ you.  I really hope you and Ty work out!  I wish I could go to Cross Timbers with you.  It will be great, you can make a whole new rep (reputation) for yourself.  I really hope that me and (???) work out.  I have to talk to you about some stuff later.  It’s going to be hard at school next year w/out you.  We have to do some stuff together and always call each other!  Everywhere we go it’s Natalie & Nicole, now it’s just Natalie, Nicole.  But we will always be B-F-F.  I know this letter is sappy but I want you to know this.  If we keep on doing our exercises all year, in high school we are going to turn not some but a lot of heads.  Not that we don’t already.  Is that bird still at the pool?  We have to glue our puzzle together and then work on another.      B-F-F, Natalie

Wow, I got a little verklempt reading this.  At the time, I thought going to a different middle school was the end of the world.  Little did I know that within a year I’d be moving to a different STATE.   But through all the moves and countless “whole new reps”, these awesome words still ring true:  “Everywhere we go, it’s Natalie & Nicole”.  With any luck we’ll be turning heads and working on puzzles for years to come.  Hollaaaaa!!!!!
