TRANSCRIPT:
Natalie: Alecia, Hey I’ve got some questions:
Do I go home with you after school on Friday?
Alecia: Yes
Natalie: What time is the party?
Alecia: Right after school.
Natalie: What do I bring?
Alecia: Sleep over stuff and bring something nice to wear to change into after school.
Natalie: Is it a sleepover?
Alecia: Yes.
Nicole: Julie – I might wear one of those things that look like a skirt in the front but are shorts in the back. – NK What are you wearing?
Ahhhh, skorts: The mullet of wardrobe pieces. This was in reference to Alecia’s birthday party in 7th grade. It was AWESOME! Her parents had a limo pick us girls up from school and take us to Dave and Busters (or some gaming place, if I remember correctly). We jammed out to Coolio’s Gangsta’s Paradise the whole way. As in, we rewound the cassette tape and played it over and over again while singing at the top of our lungs. The limo driver must have loved us. Then we had a sleepover at the Hilton Hotel in Grapevine, where we played elevator tag and ate candy all night. Seriously one of the best nights of my middle school life.
